Let's Get Fruity
Mango Cake combines the exotic fruitiness of Mango Taffie, descended from LA Affie and Hawaiian heirloom genetics, with the rich dessert character of Wedding Cake. It’s a modern Sativa-dominant hybrid with one feature that’s difficult to miss: an intense tropical mango aroma.
When Mango Cake came into our hands, that unmistakable fruity character immediately caught our attention.
We selected from these genetics to create our own feminized 'Mojo Edition', bringing some of today’s most sought-after tropical and dessert flavours into our collection.
Bring out the Camera
Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) becomes a beauty during flowering. Dark foliage frames chunky buds, with purple, magenta and reddish tones set off by bright orange pistils.
There is colour everywhere, but the real star is the frost, making the buds look like they’ve been coated in sugar. Mango Cake gives you something new to look at every week, and by late flower you'll be capturing shots from every angle.

Made for Growers
Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) comes out of veg with plenty of vigour and settles into flowering without any drama. The plants are robust, show good pest resistance and don't need a complicated grow style to deliver.
The fun starts early when resin begins spreading beyond the flowers and onto the larger bud leaves. From there, the frost keeps building, the buds swell and the colours start coming through.
This is also a strain for anyone who loves making concentrates. There is plenty of resin to work with, and the unusual reddish shimmer that can appear in rosin or BHO makes it an exotic treat for all senses.

Boosting the Brain's "Bliss Molecule"
Mango Cake has an unusually high level of CBGa, and that may be part of what gives the high its distinctive punch. CBG can inhibit FAAH, an enzyme involved in breaking down anandamide, the endocannabinoid often called the “bliss molecule” because of its role in mood, pleasure and pain perception.
Combined with high THC, this creates an interesting entourage effect. Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) starts with a strong rush of euphoria, mental clarity and alertness before the heavier body effect rolls in. The mood lift can be immediate and intensely upbeat, often with a distinctly giggly edge, giving you your 'mojo' back.
Then comes the body melt. Muscles loosen, the high gains real physical weight, but the mind stays remarkably awake and engaged. Instead of the couchlock of a heavy Indica, you can feel thoroughly stoned while still clear-headed and functional. That contrast between a euphoric rush and deep physical ease is one of Mango Cake’s defining qualities and makes it stand out from the rest of the crowd.
Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) brings a distinctly new-school flavour into the Mandala catalog. We absolutely love mango and have fond memories of the lush mango groves near our home in South India in the early 90s.
When Mango Cake came into our hands, the intense fruity character immediately caught our attention and we knew this was a must-have strain. We selected from these genetics to create our own feminized Mandala edition, adding some of today’s most sought-after tropical and dessert flavours to our collection.
The parent genetics combine Mango Taffie with Wedding Cake, pairing tropical fruit with the sweet, creamy character that has made dessert strains so popular. Mango Taffie descends from LA Affie and a Hawaiian heirloom strain, while Wedding Cake brings together Triangle Kush and Animal Mints. The result is a Sativa-dominant hybrid with an impressive family tree and a personality of its own.
The plants are vigorous and uncomplicated to grow, with good pest resistance and no tendency to be fussy. Thick, dark green leaves dominate the foliage, often contrasted by reddish stems. Resin production gets an early start in flowering and doesn't stop at the buds. Even the larger bud leaves become generously coated, giving you an early preview of what is coming later.
And later is quite a show! Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) produces large, rounded flowers that become buried beneath a thick coat of trichomes. As the plants mature, magenta and purple shades can deepen toward red, with orange pistils decorating the frosty flowers. By harvest, the buds can look almost sugar-coated. The photos speak for themselves: this is an exceptionally colourful, resinous plant.
Mango Cake is excellent for extractions. Even the rosin can show an unusual reddish shimmer, an exotic bonus and something fun to share when friends come around.
Then there is the aroma. With reported terpene levels of 2.5-5%, Mango Cake doesn't make you work hard for great taste. The main terpene is terpinolene, followed by caryophyllene.
Ripe mango and tropical fruit lead the way, sometimes with a citrusy edge, followed by sweet cake and a creamy richness. Crack open a cured bud and the name suddenly makes a lot of sense.
The high has enough energy to carry a productive day or a night out. It starts with a bright cerebral lift that can bring creativity, focus and a rush of positive energy. But it can also be something of a creeper, so be mindful of dosage since THC levels hover between 25-29%. The potency makes Mango Cake (Mojo Edition) especially appealing to experienced smokers with a higher THC tolerance and those looking for a strain they can return to regularly.
As the experience develops, a comfortable body relaxation moves in underneath without shutting down the lively headspace.
Frosty purple buds, creamy mango, and an upbeat high with some real power behind it. Our Mojo Edition tastes like a tropical treat and leaves you floating in a very good place.
Broad spectrum use.Mango Cake’s combination of high CBGa, THC and an alert Sativa-dominant terpene profile makes it particularly interesting for medical users. The effect can bring a rapid shift in mood without the edgy, tweaky feeling that some potent Sativas produce, while the strong body relaxation provides physical relief without necessarily becoming sedating.
Users may find the clear, functional side of the high useful for daytime brain fog, fatigue and difficulty focusing. CBG has also been studied for anti-inflammatory activity and effects involving the gastrointestinal system, while THC is well established for reducing nausea and stimulating appetite. Together, these properties make Mango Cake especially interesting when physical discomfort, nausea or poor appetite need to be addressed without giving up the rest of the day.
Our organic cannabis seeds are fresh, fully ripened and handcrafted. Each batch is pre-tested for 100% germination and can be easily germinated directly in quality seedling soil.
In Europe, Compo Sana Seedling Mix is an excellent choice. Popular options in North America include Burpee Seed Starting Mix, Pro-Mix Organic Seed Starting Mix and Fox Farm Light Warrior Seed Starter.
Give the seed embryo the best chance to emerge from its shell. If you grow organically, investing in quality seedling soil is one of the simplest ways to get your plants off to a healthy start. We have seen many germination problems caused by peat pellets and Jiffy tabs, where the acidic pH can interfere with germination. Coco coir bricks and other compressed growing blocks can also result in poor germination rates.
There is no need to soak our seeds or use other pre-germination methods. We recommend planting them directly into seedling soil. We cannot accept responsibility for germination results when seeds are soaked in water or germinated in paper tissues.
WARNING: Do NOT lower the pH of your water with acids such as “pH-Down” products containing nitric or phosphoric acid. These can be fatal to young seedlings when growing in soil. We have used inexpensive vinegar to lower the pH of our water for 35 years. It is non-toxic and harmless to the plants when used correctly.
For soil cultivation, the correct water pH is 6.2–6.5. Please consult our Water & pH Guide for more information.
